Send Iyana Back to South Asia!

Hi there, I’m Iyana! Before I dive in, let me give you some background info. 

From 2018 – 2020 I had the privilege of serving people all over the world, through missions. My time on the mission field were some of the best years of my life! The Lord led me to many countries including two nations in South Asia, Uganda, Italy, France, and Switzerland. Most of my time serving was spent in South Asia, where I served with Promise Child and lived in the Promise home with 13 young girls and their loving “parents”. The Lord taught me much, and gave me so much favor in building beautiful relationships with all 13 of the Promise Girls. 

Eight years later, here I am, living in Southern California, happily married, with a 7 month old puppy. The Lord has graciously helped me adjust to a life where missions hasn’t been so deeply a part of my life, it has been tough but I knew God would bring me back on the mission field one day. And now, I have this awesome opportunity to return to South Asia and meet with all the Christ-loving servants I worked alongside! AND I finally get to see those 13 young and innocent faces that I’m sure have matured and grown so much over these last 7 years. “I can’t wait” is an understatement.
